Maderra Personnel is currently seeking two qualified individuals for the position of Health and Safety Consultant in Long Habour, NL for a one-month contract (October - November)

Located in St. John's, NL, Maderra provides project management, project services, engineering, technical and personnel services to the Energy, Resource, and Commercial sectors. Responsibilities:

Provide safety field auditing assistance during a scheduled plant outage in 2025
Work alongside the maintenance department, maintenance department Safety Team, operations, and existing safety team, enhancing safety measures and ensuring a comprehensive approach to risk management.
Provide daily updates on the status of critical scope of work
Provide trained, qualified, and experienced safety professionals with relevant industry experience

Requirements:

University degree or graduation from a recognized course in Safety Management or related program
Minimum of 8 years related experience
Confined Space Training
Completion of a medical fitness test and drug & medical test
CRSP designation or equivalency would be considered an asset
