Maderra Personnel is currently seeking qualified individuals for the position of Labourer in Valentine Lake, NL.

Located in St. John's, NL, Maderra provides project management, project services, engineering, technical and personnel services to the Energy, Resource, and Commercial sectors. Responsibilities:

Supporting tradespersons in construction, maintenance, and repair activities.
Operating various hand tools and power tools (e.g., saws, pressure washers, jackhammers) and potentially light equipment (e.g., forklift, snow blower).
Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment, and moving them to designated work areas.
Performing general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment, including removing debris from construction sites and work areas.
Assisting with camp maintenance, vehicle maintenance, and potentially ground maintenance tasks.
Strictly following all safety policies, safe work practices, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements:

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or a remote work setting is often considered an asset.
The role requires significant physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 55 lbs (25 kg), bend, crouch, kneel, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods in various weather conditions.
A valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
Good communication, teamwork, the ability to follow instructions, self-motivation, and a strong understanding of safety standards.
