Our startup client in the financial services industry has a need for a driven Bookkeeper to assist with financial operations.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions
  • Record day to day financial transactions
  • Update and maintain the general ledger
  • Perform partial checks of the posting process
  • Balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance
  • Reconcile entries into the accounting software
  • Process accounts receivable/payable and payroll in a timely manner
  • Complete tax forms
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Work closely with accountants and consultants
  • Undertake any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the CEO

 

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • 2-3 years bookkeeping experience
  • Banking experience is a plus
  • Advanced experience with Excel and QuickBooks
  • Comfortable working with accountants and consultants
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
