Job Title: Interim Women’s Services Director

 

Job Summary:As the Interim Women’s Services Director, you will lead and oversee multiple critical care areas within Women & Family Services, including Labor & Delivery, Emergency/Triage, and Pediatric/Neonatal Critical Care. You will be responsible for managing clinical operations, optimizing workflow, and ensuring high-quality patient care in alignment with regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement departmental goals that meet clinical, administrative, and legal requirements within Women’s Services.
  • Oversee all clinical operations, including patient assessments, care planning, service level decisions, and managing patient concerns.
  • Manage the department’s budget, ensuring services operate within financial limits and resources are used efficiently.
  • Lead and coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and practices.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, administrators, and other directors to optimize operations and ensure efficient use of staff, supplies, and equipment.
  • Drive initiatives to improve clinical quality, service excellence, and financial performance by identifying and eliminating operational barriers.
  • Lead recruitment, training, development, and evaluation of staff, ensuring the team is equipped and motivated to deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or diploma from an accredited nursing school/college required.
    • Master’s degree or a combination of Bachelor’s degree and extensive experience preferred.
  • Work Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience required.
    • 10 years of nursing experience preferred.
    • At least 2 years of leadership or management experience required; 5 years preferred.
