Network Operations Specialist

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a tech-savvy, self-driven Network Operations Specialist to own all day-to-day IT and network functions at our busy manufacturing plant. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an environment where they can roll up their sleeves, tackle hardware and software issues, and ensure production systems are running smoothly—without needing someone looking over their shoulder.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily IT operations, including PC setups, software installations, printer troubleshooting, and user access issues
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot local network infrastructure including switches, routers, and connectivity across the site
• Provide hands-on technical support for shop floor operations—ensuring production systems stay online and users are supported
• Assist with SAP workstation readiness and provide support during the full implementation and post-go-live phases
• Act as the bridge between the plant and the global IT team, coordinating escalations, upgrades, and documentation
• Maintain hardware inventory, license records, and SharePoint folders for internal documentation
• Jump in on the occasional PLC, hardware, or interface issue in partnership with maintenance or controls technicians

Requirements

• BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred or an AAS with solid hands-on experience will be considered
• 2+ years in a network or IT support role within a manufacturing, logistics, or plant environment
• Skilled at managing day-to-day IT independently in a production-driven setting
• Skilled with ERP systems and user access; prefer Oracle or SAP experience
• Comfortable navigating between the office and the shop floor—good communicator, proactive, and solutions-focused
