A top-ranked national team is seeking a Career Attorney with 2+ years of experience in Consumer Financial Services litigation to join its growing group in Houston. This role is ideal for an attorney who is passionate about litigation and compliance work in the evolving financial services space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support litigation matters related to mortgage servicing, credit reporting, and debt collection
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and assist with discovery and motion practice
• Collaborate with attorneys across the country in defending financial institutions and service providers
• Provide support in regulatory matters and government investigations involving consumer finance laws

Preferred Experience:

• Mortgage Servicing Litigation
• Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
• Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
• Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA)

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant litigation experience
• Licensed and in good standing in Texas
• Additional bar admissions are a plus
• Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation:

• Salary range: $150,000 – $180,000, depending on experience
