About Us: We are a reputable landscape construction firm in Tampa, specializing in home builder and large-scale commercial projects within the Green Industry. Known for our quality craftsmanship and innovative designs, we are looking for an experienced Landscape Construction Superintendent to lead our field operations.
 
Job Description:
  • Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of landscape construction from planning through completion for both new developments and renovations.
  • Team Leadership: Direct, supervise, and mentor field crews, ensuring high standards of work quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as the primary liaison between the company, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, labor, and materials to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards on all projects.
  • Scheduling: Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local regulations, codes, and best practices in landscape construction.
 
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in landscape construction with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience with either residential home builders or commercial projects is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge:
    • Deep understanding of landscape construction techniques, including hardscaping, irrigation, lighting, and plant installation.
    • Knowledge of local plant materials and sustainable landscape practices.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and landscape plans.
    • Proficient in estimating costs, project management software, and basic computer skills.
  • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Construction Management, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license, OSHA certification preferred. Additional certifications in landscape management or construction are a plus.
