Join a team at a newly renovated restaurant! They pride themselves on offering exceptional guest experiences. They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Chef to lead a team and ensure the highest standards of hospitality. 
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Develop an innovative menu that meets quality and cost standards while showcasing ingredients that are in season and in line with culinary trends 
  • Oversee all preparation of food and teach staff culinary techniques while ensuring highest food quality 
  • Administer all the back of house hiring and onboarding, and ensuring proper coaching and feedback is given 
  • Manage inventory levels which includes ordering and receiving of ingredients, ensure there is a clean and organized work space, and implement high standard operating procedures 
  • Regularly inspect food storage and prep areas to ensure food safety protocols are followed 
  • Manage budget and profitability for the kitchen 
 
Qualifications: 
  • B.S. in Culinary Science or related certificate preferred 
  • 2+ years experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant 
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards and best practices 
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
