Job Title: Construction Project Manager (multiple openings)

Location: Detroit Metro
Job Type: Full-time
Reports To: Director of Construction / Senior Project Manager
Experience Required: Minimum 4 years in construction project management or a related field

Position Overview:

We are seeking several experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion throughout Michigan. 

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience overseeing commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction through final completion.

  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure project goals are met.

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to define project scope and deliverables.

  • Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings, and provide updates to stakeholders.

  • Identify and mitigate risks or issues that could impact project delivery.

  • Manage procurement of materials and negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including project reports, change orders, and cost estimates.

  • Ensure all project team members understand their roles and responsibilities.

  • Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in construction project management or construction supervision.

  • Proven track record of managing projects from start to finish on time and within budget.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and safety regulations.

  • Proficient with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

  • OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
