Senior Financial Analyst Transportation/Aviation Industry – South/Central Florida (on the ocean) – up to $95K

Minimum Education & Experience:•    Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting from accredited college/university within the United States.•    Public Accounting Experience, Master’s degree and/or CPA license is preferred but not required.•    Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting or alternatively 3+ years in Public Accounting.•    Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis•    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).•    Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

•    Conduct comprehensive variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against budgeted and forecasted figures.•    Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to understand key drivers of financial performance.•    Assist in the development and consolidation of annual budgets.•    Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial information for budget preparation.•    Develop short-term and long-term financial forecasts using historical data, economic indicators, and departmental input.•    Update and maintain forecasting models to reflect changing business needs and market conditions.•    Assist in month-end closing procedures including journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
