Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Plant Controller with at least 20+ years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical leadership role in managing our plant’s financial operations and driving strategic business decisions. With strong expertise in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, the Plant Controller will be responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate financial processes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the plant’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Manage and optimize ERP systems to enhance reporting accuracy and operational transparency.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives and improve cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations for key decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations, auditing standards, and internal policies.
  • Monitor and control plant accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, inventory management, and fixed assets.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports for executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes by leveraging technology and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in financial leadership roles within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proven expertise in managing and optimizing ERP systems, with a track record of implementing process improvements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of cost accounting, financial reporting, and manufacturing operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing teams with a focus on achieving high performance.
