They have a handful of manufacturing sites in the United States and also have a presence in Europe.
Position Overview:
This will be a process/plant engineer role wearing several hats, as this is a smaller facility. This is an especially good opportunity for someone earlier in their career who is looking to gain a well-rounded skillset. Among the responsibilities of this role are:
- Process optimization and improvement
- Maintain the DCS system and provide support
- Participate in new product and process commercialization efforts
- Active involvement with the site PSM program and in PHAs, HAZOPs, and LOPA studies
- Oversight and management of smaller capital projects
- Work together with the maintenance personnel
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering required
- 3+ years of post-college, chemical industry experience
- Must have worked in a PSM-regulated manufacturing plant
- Big plus for previous DCS experience, not a must-have
- Willingness to travel up to 15% (primarily domestic travel)
