About this Company:
This company is a chemical manufacturer and leader in their space and are located about 90 miles southwest of Chicago, IL in a beautiful community along the Illinois river. Cost of living in this area is lower than the near suburbs and is about equidistant from Chicago, Peoria and Davenport, IA. The applications for this company's products a very diverse and they are rapidly growing both internally (expansion) as well as externally (acquisition).
The Position:
They are looking for someone to own their maintenance/reliability function with a specific focus on predictive and preventive maintenance strategy, mechanical integrity and root cause failure analysis (RCFA). This person will be part of a team that includes an I&E Engineer, an MI coordinator, a planner, a scheduler and a project manager. They have the internal capability to hire someone a little greener and train them, and would also welcome someone with a solid background of industry experience who can help them improve their current programs.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Chemical preferred
- 1+ years of post-college, manufacturing experience in maintenance/reliability
- Previous experience with CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems) is required
- Rotating equipment experience is a big plus
- Knowledge of RCM (reliability centered maintenance) is also a big plus, as is predictive maintenance techniques (vibration/oil/infrared analysis)
