In this role, you will perform non-destructive testing (NDT) using radiographic inspection methods to ensure products and components meet required standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and compliance with safety and quality protocols.
\nPerform Level II radiographic inspections (RT) on materials, welds, and components according to established codes, standards, and procedures.
\nInterpret and evaluate radiographic film/images to identify defects, discontinuities, or non-conformances.
\nSet up, calibrate, and operate radiographic inspection equipment.
\nDocument results clearly and prepare detailed inspection reports.
\nEnsure compliance with company, industry, and customer requirements (ASME, AWS, NAS410, etc.).
\nAdhere to all safety regulations when handling radiographic equipment and exposure sources.
\nAssist in training or guiding Level I inspectors as needed.
\nCollaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
\nCertification as NDT Level II Radiographic Inspector in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A, NAS410, or equivalent standards.
\n2-5 years of experience in radiographic inspection (manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environment preferred).
\nStrong understanding of NDT methods, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
\nExcellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
\nStrong communication and problem-solving abilities.
\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. as required.
\nStanding, walking, and handling inspection equipment for extended periods.
\nUse of protective equipment, including radiation safety gear.
