Controls Technician 

La Crosse, WI area

Overview:

This opportunity is with an international food additives manufacturer that has a 60-person facility, located about thirty miles north of La Crosse, Wisconsin. Some of the processes that this plant uses are mixing, spray drying, fermentation, and bulk packaging. In this role you'll focus on troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems (PLC, DCS, and HMI). You'll also have the opportunity to lead a small team of other technicians and personnel. The parent company, which operates multiple food and pharmaceutical sites both domestically, in Canada and internationally as well as offering employees the ability to transfer to any company site. This bonus-eligible position includes relocation assistance and overtime pay. People tend to commute to the plant from locations such as La Crosse and Winona MN, and other local towns around the Mississippi River.

Ideal Experience:

• 2+ years of PLC or DCS controls/automation experience out of any production site. 
• Leadership or supervision experience is preferred.
