Job Description:

This role will be based at a ~100 person manufacturing plant that makes a truly innovative chemical product for the agricultural space. The processes are chemical processes and site is PSM-regulated – the parent company has consistently invested in this company over the past decade, expanding production capacity and plant capabilities. This is a new position within this facility and will be focused on ‘leveling up’, particularly in the areas of safety and retention. This person will oversee production, quality, EHS and logistics/warehousing and will have a group of in-plant leaders reporting to them.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • B.S. degree, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Previous experience in a PSM-regulated manufacturing plant is a must-have
  • Qualified applicants will have at least 5-10 years of previous management and leadership experience
  • Looking for someone with a track record of ‘outside the box’ problem-solving, someone who has come up with creative solutions to employee retention in particular
  • Another point of emphasis will be on someone who “knows what good looks like” and who has capably led teams through changes
