Summary:
This is a privately-owned company that has been in business for 80 years. In that time, they’ve never had a reduction-of-force event (layoff) and that is because the business they are in is very stable and not prone to changes in the economy. This role is the top position at this small facility that does chemical mixing/blending and distribution. You will have about 12-15 people reporting to you. The company has facilities throughout the United States.
Requirements:
- Degree with 7+ years of experience or non-degree with 10+ years of experience
- 3+ years of leadership/management experience
- Experience with logistics (trucking) would be a huge plus
- Can take people out of a variety of manufacturing backgrounds
- Must have experience with safety programs and have a track record for high safety standards
