Position Overview
 
Reporting to the Program Director the Program Generalist supports educational and community-based programs focused on youth development, career readiness, and life skills in Jacksonville, Florida. This role reports to the Program Manager and is responsible for program coordination, participant engagement, and operational excellence.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Program Management
 
• Coordinate and execute educational and youth development programs• Manage program logistics, including scheduling, registration, and materials• Maintain accurate program documentation and participant records• Monitor program delivery against established objectives and quality standards• Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for program evaluation
 
Stakeholder Engagement
 
• Serve as primary contact for program participants• Coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, and scheduling• Maintain relationships with community partners and schools• Facilitate communication between participants, families, and program staff• Support participant recruitment and outreach initiatives
 
Event Coordination
 
• Plan and execute program events, workshops, and ceremonies• Manage event logistics including venue, transportation, and resources• Coordinate with external partners and guest speakers• Collect and analyze post-event feedback
 
Administrative Support
• Maintain program databases and documentation• Generate regular reports for stakeholders• Support budget tracking and resource allocation• Assist with marketing and promotional materials
 
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent• 1-3 years of experience in program coordination or youth services• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite• Strong organizational and communication skills• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
 
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or related field• Experience with project management or CRM software• Background in nonprofit or educational settings• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish)
