Job Summary: The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions. This position will be responsible for a variety of HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
    • Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Employee Relations:

    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
    • Address employee relations issues and provide guidance on conflict resolution.
  • Performance Management:

    • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management programs.
    • Support managers in conducting performance reviews and setting goals.
  • Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Training and Development:

    • Coordinate and facilitate training programs for employees.
    • Identify training needs and develop training materials.
  • Benefits Administration:

    • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs.
    • Provide information and support to employees regarding benefits.
  • HR Projects:

    • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and programs.
    • Collaborate with other departments to support company goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
