\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Legal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to a busy team of attorneys. The ideal candidate will have strong calendaring experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
\nThis is a full-time, onsite position (5 days per week) at the firm’s Dallas office.
\n\nMaintain and manage litigation calendars, including court deadlines, hearings, and filing dates.
\nDraft, format, and proofread pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents.
\nFile legal documents in state and federal courts (both electronic and paper filings).
\nManage case files (both physical and electronic), ensuring documents are organized and easily accessible.
\nCoordinate with courts, clients, experts, and opposing counsel as needed.
\nSchedule depositions, hearings, and meetings for attorneys.
\nPrepare and process expense reports, invoices, and other administrative tasks.
\nAssist with trial preparation, including exhibit binders and witness coordination.
\n3+ years of experience as a litigation assistant or legal secretary in a civil litigation setting (law firm experience required).
\nStrong calendaring experience with knowledge of Texas court rules and filing deadlines.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems.
\nExperience with state and federal e-filing systems (eFileTexas, PACER, etc.).
\nExcellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
\nAbility to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
\nDetail-oriented with strong proofreading and document formatting skills.
\nReliable, punctual, and able to work onsite 5 days per week.
