We are seeking a passionate and skilled healthcare professional to take on the role of an Acute Peritoneal Dialysis Specialist. This part-time position offers the opportunity to provide specialized dialysis care both in-home and in-clinic, ensuring the highest quality of patient treatment and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct acute peritoneal dialysis procedures aligned with standard protocols and guidelines.
  • Adjust treatment plans based on patient responses to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement personalized care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about the dialysis process, including potential risks and benefits.
  • Monitor patient progress, maintaining detailed records and reporting any significant changes.
  • Adhere to infection control policies, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.

Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse license in the state.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year of nursing experience is required, with a preference for candidates with experience in hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
  • At least six months of general dialysis experience is essential.
