Our client, a national leader in industrial and utility power solutions, is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand their presence across the Houston and Gulf Coast region. This is a relationship-driven, technically fluent sales role focusing on stationary power, industrial batteries, and DC load systems.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\nDevelop and manage business with utilities, EPCs, integrators, and industrial clients.
\nSize and interpret DC load profiles, battery/inverter configurations, and distribution system designs.
\nPartner with engineering and service teams to scope and deliver complete stationary power solutions.
\nBuild long-term relationships and represent the company at industry events and forums.
\nManage the full sales cycle — from prospecting to proposal to close — in CRM.
\nIdeal Candidate:
\n5–7+ years of business development or sales engineering in utilities, stationary power, or battery energy storage.
\nStrong technical aptitude with ability to discuss DC systems, distribution design, and integration.
\nRelational and consultative approach; comfortable engaging at both executive and engineering levels.
\nBachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related discipline preferred.
\nBased in (or willing to relocate to) Houston, TX; regional travel required.
