Oversee project portfolio and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Supervise, guide, and mentor project managers and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Engage with high-level stakeholders, including Executives and Customers, to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives.Provide oversight for project estimating to continually improve presales activities.Develop long-term project plans and make high-level decisions that impact the success of projects.Allocate resources across projects, ensuring optimal use of personnel, budget, and materials.Identify and mitigate risks ensuring that potential issues are addressed to not impact project success.Monitor the performance of projects and provide regular updates to Executive management.Ensure that all projects adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.Travel as necessary to attend high-level meetings and review project progress.
QualificationsMust be an articulate professional with excellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to effectively communicate orally and in writing with managers, peers, customers, contractors, and consultantsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in use of Microsoft Office applications including ProjectMust have good organizational skillsMaintain a clear background and driving record
Education and ExperienceMinimum 10 years of experience in a construction project management role and preferably 5 years in a senior role or managementBachelor’s degree in engineering or master’s degree in construction management preferred.Be able to communicate effectively, conveying information and ideas clearly so others can understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these interactions.•Be able to observe details at close range, e.g. computer screens and printed documents.•Be able to travel as needed to job sites.
