They provide instruction related to Advanced Directives, ethics, issues of spirituality and religion, and bereavement.•Demonstrates skill in communicating effectively through active listening and responding.•Recognizes and supports religious, spiritual and cultural diversity.•Actively participates in the self-evaluation process.•Demonstrates a working knowledge of crisis intervention theory.•Utilizes knowledge of Advanced Directives to educate, assist and support customers in ethical decision-making process.•Exhibits skills as an advocate, negotiator, counselor, facilitator of family conferences.•Demonstrates the willingness and ability to work with all faith group leaders and lay representatives.•Consistently demonstrates a team approach within the department and works well as interdisciplinary team members to maintain continuum of care.•Is alert to and facilitates resolving ethical issues.Additional info:•Position will report to the Director and will join a team with 5 other Chaplains.•If you're a passionate Chaplain seeking a rewarding career in a collaborative healthcare setting, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.
