Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

Location: Austin, TX

 

Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join its dynamic litigation team in Austin, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to engage in sophisticated commercial litigation matters and build a thriving practice in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Bar Admission in Texas is required.
  • 3–4 years of substantive experience in sophisticated commercial litigation matters.
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts is a plus.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • A strong, positive presence and advocacy ability.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and initiative are highly valued.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other court filings.
  • Negotiate and draft commercial contracts as needed.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients and advocate effectively in court proceedings.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across practice groups to deliver excellent client service.
