Position Overview: Our client is searching for a seasoned Electrical Engineer (EE) with substantial experience managing projects from the initial design phase to recurring manufacturing. This individual will act as a consultant to clients, oversee design teams in circuit board design and HMI system integration, and ensure a smooth transition from engineering to manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and practical, hands-on problem-solving abilities, driving accelerated product development and market release.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of electronic circuits for HMI systems, guiding projects from concept to production.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand technical requirements, offering expert consultation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure seamless integration of electronic components with HMI systems and manage handoffs from engineering to manufacturing.
• Drive efficient project execution, maintaining timelines and ensuring designs are robust and production-ready by the "pencils down" completion point.
• Contribute to the company’s growth strategy by identifying and seizing opportunities in various device sectors.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring operational and manufacturing considerations are incorporated into designs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electronic design and development, especially in HMI systems or similar industries.
• Proven ability to manage projects from early-stage design to full-scale manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach to engineering.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Experience in circuit board design, integration, and addressing design issues to prevent production delays.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience working in commoditized markets, particularly in the LCD or HMI sectors.
• Previous experience with public-facing products that demonstrate ease of use and reliable engineering.
• A pragmatic, team-oriented mindset, focused on real-world solutions and operational success.
