Our client, a top-tier AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Mid-Level Project Finance Associate to join their Finance Practice Group and Energy Sector. The position is available in Houston, Los Angeles, Madison, Milwaukee, New York, or Washington, DC.

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from an ABA-approved law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Active Bar admission in the jurisdiction of the office location or eligibility for timely admission.
  • 3-5 years of substantive renewable energy transactional experience.
  • Expertise in renewable energy project finance, tax credit transactions, and due diligence matters.
  • Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents, including credit agreements and tax equity documents.
  • Strong ability to manage subject-matter specialist reviews and oversee transaction closings.
  • Proven ability to succeed in challenging, client-driven environments.
  • Large law firm experience is preferred.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in renewable energy project finance transactions, including tax credit and due diligence matters.
  • Draft and negotiate complex transaction documents, such as credit agreements and tax equity documents.
  • Oversee project document reviews, manage subject-matter specialist reviews, and close transactions.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic and growing team within the Energy Sector to advance long-term strategic objectives.
