A high-volume, culture-driven restaurant concept is looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead operations at one of the most culturally significant and high-energy dining concepts in Sacramento.

This is a full-service restaurant rooted in the celebration of African American culture, delivering authentic soul food with exceptional hospitality in a vibrant, high-energy environment. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for supporting all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong team leadership, and consistent financial performance. This role requires a disciplined, systems-driven leader who thrives in a structured, performance-based environment.

Day in the Life:

  • Lead daily restaurant operations and support overall leadership team execution
  • Drive guest satisfaction through strong service standards and team accountability
  • Maintain excellence in sales performance, service quality, and profitability
  • Train, coach, and develop managers and hourly team members
  • Enforce systems, standards, and operational procedures with consistency
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and labor regulations
  • Create and manage schedules to align with business needs and labor targets
  • Administer corrective action and performance management consistently and fairly
  • Act as a key leader on the floor during peak service, maintaining strong presence
  • Foster a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience (senior-level experience preferred)
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and systems-oriented mindset
  • Ability to be firm on standards and hold team members accountable
  • Experience managing large teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills
  • Polished, professional presence suited for the Los Angeles market
  • Ability to thrive in a structured, performance-driven environment
