Job Title: General Manager – Café & Future Club
Location: San Francisco, CA

Our cafe is a modern, ingredient-driven food concept rooted in California simplicity and thoughtful hospitality. What begins as an initial activation will grow into a full café and eventually a private membership club, designed as a gathering place for San Francisco’s creative and hospitality community.

Our food is clean, whole, and deeply satisfying—built around seasonal produce, high-quality sourcing, and a point of view. The menu reflects a balance of nourishing and craveable: organic coffee, matcha, and superfood beverages; smoothies built with ingredients like olive oil, collagen, coconut, and fresh fruit; bright, composed dishes like white bean & kale salad, eggy salads, and chicken salad; house-made items such as almond flour banana bread and coconut chia bowls; and fresh pressed juices like Daily Green and Bright Beet.

We believe in doing a few things exceptionally well—with discipline, consistency, and care—while creating an environment that feels warm, considered, and quietly special.

The General Manager will lead initial operations and grow into overseeing the café and future club experience. This role is both highly operational and deeply hospitality-driven—ideal for someone who thrives in a systems-oriented environment but leads with taste, presence, and intuition.

The General Manager is responsible for building the foundation of the business, from daily execution to team culture, while shaping the guest experience as the brand evolves. This role requires a polished, hands-on leader who can balance operational excellence with a strong sense of hospitality and brand identity.

Day in the Life:

  • Own day-to-day operations, ensuring precision, cleanliness, and consistency
  • Oversee coffee, beverage, and food execution with high standards
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
  • Lead service with a focus on warm, intuitive hospitality
  • Hire, train, and develop a small, high-performing team
  • Build a strong base of regulars and community engagement
  • Support pop-ups, collaborations, and brand activations
  • Partner with ownership on continuous improvement and growth

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role
  • Strong operational discipline with attention to detail and systems
  • Hospitality-first mindset with a focus on guest experience
  • Experience in high-quality, fast-paced environments (cafés, restaurants, or similar)
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
  • Comfortable in a startup-style, hands-on environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for ingredient-driven, seasonal food and beverage concepts
