Job Title: Social Media Manager & Content Producer
Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Restaurant Group is seeking a talented and highly creative Social Media Manager & Content Producer to lead social strategy and content creation across our growing portfolio of restaurant brands.

We work hard, but we also genuinely enjoy what we do. We love food, restaurants, and the experience of bringing people together around a table. Our standards are high because the work matters to us - not because someone is looking over our shoulders.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can both create exceptional content and own the strategy behind it. You’ll lead social strategy and content production across multiple brands and platforms, taking work from the initial idea all the way through shooting, editing, publishing, measuring, and improving it.

You’ll work directly with our executive team and have meaningful ownership over how our brands show up digitally. We’re looking for someone with opinions, ideas, and a distinct creative point of view - not someone waiting to be handed a task list.

This is also the first seat in a department we intend to build. As we expand into new markets, this position will grow with the organization, including the opportunity to hire, train, and lead additional social and content team members.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience

  • Full-time position

  • Professional camera and company-provided phone for content creation

  • Opportunity to build and eventually lead a growing social media and content department

  • Significant creative ownership and autonomy

  • Professional growth opportunities within an expanding hospitality organization

  • Collaborative environment with direct access to creative, operations, and executive leadership

  • Opportunity to support new restaurant openings and expansion into new markets

Day in the Life:

  • Own social media strategy and content production across multiple restaurant brands and accounts

  • Concept, shoot, edit, and publish social content from initial idea through final post

  • Regularly capture high-quality photography and video at restaurant locations throughout the Phoenix Valley

  • Create graphics for feed posts, Stories, promotional campaigns, and other digital needs

  • Maintain an elevated visual aesthetic while protecting the individual identity, voice, and personality of each restaurant concept

  • Direct professional photography teams during major shoots, including menu launches, seasonal campaigns, and events

  • Develop shot lists and provide creative direction to ensure professional photography supports the larger content strategy

  • Build and maintain the content calendar across all brands while coordinating with restaurant teams around events, promotions, and timing

  • Manage brand presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Nextdoor, Google Business Profiles, TripAdvisor, and other relevant platforms

  • Maintain accurate and current information across Google Business Profiles and TripAdvisor in partnership with operations

  • Manage review and community channels with timely, thoughtful responses that authentically reflect each brand

  • Stay current on social algorithms, platform changes, content formats, and hospitality trends—and translate those insights into action

  • Bring proactive recommendations that increase reach, engagement, and brand relevance rather than simply maintaining a posting calendar

  • Manage paid social campaigns and make informed recommendations regarding budget, targeting, campaign length, and creative

  • Track campaign and account performance, establish meaningful benchmarks, and provide actionable recommendations based on results

  • Support new restaurant and market openings with launch strategy, content development, and execution

  • Help establish workflows, approval processes, asset management, and other systems necessary to scale the social media department

  • Hire, train, and develop junior social media and content team members as the department grows

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on social media experience, including at least 1 year at a senior or lead level

  • Strong portfolio of social content you have personally created

  • Advanced photography and videography skills using both professional equipment and mobile devices

  • Proficiency with photo and video editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, or equivalent platforms

  • Proven ability to manage multiple social accounts and distinct brand voices simultaneously

  • Strong understanding of current social media algorithms, content formats, audience behavior, and platform best practices

  • Ability to develop long-term social strategy while maintaining exceptional attention to the smallest creative details

  • Strong understanding of paid social media with the ability to make recommendations regarding budget, targeting, creative, and optimization

  • Ability to interpret social performance data and translate analytics into meaningful strategic recommendations

  • Excellent creative judgment with the confidence to distinguish between trends that strengthen a brand and trends that simply create noise

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to operate independently

  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to challenge ideas thoughtfully, provide recommendations, and participate in constructive creative debate

  • Ability to build trusted relationships with chefs, managers, servers, and restaurant teams

  • Genuine passion for content creation, storytelling, food, restaurants, and hospitality

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly between restaurant locations throughout the Phoenix Valley

  • Flexibility to create content before and during service, including occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends

  • Restaurant, hospitality, or food and beverage experience strongly preferred

  • Experience supporting restaurant openings or new-market launches strongly preferred

  • Strong copywriting skills preferred

The Ideal Candidate

You can move comfortably between the telescope and the microscope.

You can develop a quarter’s worth of strategy and then notice that a plate is positioned incorrectly in a photograph. You understand that an individual post is one piece of a much larger brand story, and you can explain how today’s content connects to what the audience saw three months ago - and where you want to take them next.

You have a point of view. You don’t chase every trend simply because it’s trending, and you’re comfortable saying, “Here’s what I think we should do, and here’s why.”

You are also genuinely collaborative. You build relationships with the people inside the restaurants because you understand that some of the best content happens when chefs, bartenders, managers, and servers trust you enough to pull you into the moment when something great is happening.

Most importantly, you want ownership. You want to create the work, shape the strategy, measure the results, and eventually build the team around you.

If you're passionate about creating content that genuinely connects with people and excited about helping distinctive hospitality brands grow into new markets, we'd love to hear from you.
