This role is responsible for overseeing private event sales and operations across all four concepts while identifying and developing new revenue opportunities through catering, large-format delivery, off-site events, and full-service event production. The ideal candidate enjoys selling a variety of experiences and understands how to tailor events to meet diverse guest needs.
The Event Sales & Operations Manager will manage the event process from initial inquiry through execution, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and profitable growth. This position requires a highly organized, entrepreneurial professional who can work independently, build community relationships, and consistently generate new business.

Day in the Life:
• Manage inbound event inquiries and drive private event sales across all four restaurant concepts
• Conduct site tours and develop customized event proposals
• Coordinate event details with restaurant operations teams to ensure flawless execution
• Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders
• Prospect for new business opportunities, catering accounts, and off-site events
• Attend networking events and represent Restaurant Group in the community
• Oversee major events and serve as the primary point of contact for clients
• Develop strategies to increase revenue through catering, delivery, and event production services
• Track sales activity, maintain client relationships, and follow up on leads
• Collaborate with ownership and leadership to grow the overall events program

Requirements:
• 3+ years of event sales, catering sales, hospitality sales, or related experience
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and guest service
• Proven ability to generate leads, close business, and grow revenue
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Professional presence and confidence managing high-profile events
• Strong networking and community engagement skills
• Proficiency with event management, CRM, and Microsoft Office systems
• Availability to work approximately 50 hours per week, including nights and weekends when major events require onsite leadership
