A growing, Kansas City–based upscale casual concept is seeking an energetic and driven Assistant General Manager to join our team as we continue to expand.

The Assistant General Manager partners closely with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, support team development, and ensure every guest interaction reflects our commitment to quality, consistency, and hospitality. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys being actively involved on the floor.

Day in the Life:
- Partner with the General Manager to lead daily operations and execute brand standards
- Motivate, coach, and support team members through clear communication and hands-on leadership
- Assist in driving financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and overall facility organization
- Help build and sustain efficient systems and processes that support smooth operations
- Approach challenges with a positive, solutions-focused mindset
- Ensure every guest interaction reflects a strong commitment to hospitality
Requirements:
- 1+ year of leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
- Strong team-first mentality with the ability to inspire and develop others
- Solid understanding of restaurant financials, including P&L, labor, and cost controls
- Excellent communication skills, integrity, and emotional intelligence
- Proven ability to lead by example and remain composed under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Commitment to maintaining excellence in cleanliness, safety, and operational standards
