Job Title: Restaurant Manager (MIT)

Local Restaurant Group is seeking a Restaurant Manager (MIT) to join its leadership team at one of Kansas City’s most iconic barbecue destinations.

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for learning and supporting all aspects of restaurant operations, with a clear path toward leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment. Day in the Life:
- Complete the MIT program with all required goals, assessments, and milestones
- Learn the ins and outs of kitchen execution, guest experience, and team leadership
- Partner with your General Manager for weekly coaching and development
- Drive performance, culture, and hospitality through hands-on leadership
- Set the tone for excellence and help shape a positive, guest-focused environment
Requirements:
- 2+ years of restaurant leadership experience preferred (but we’ll train the right person!)
- ServSafe Certified or open to getting certified
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- A strong work ethic, high integrity, and a hunger to grow
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role (lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk full shift)
