Sous Chef
Restaurant Group is looking for a Sous Chef to join our team and help lead our from-scratch kitchen!

We’re seeking a passionate and hands-on Sous Chef who thrives in a high-standard kitchen and is excited to support and develop a strong culinary team. This role is ideal for someone who leads by example, values consistency and creativity, and takes pride in both the big picture and the smallest details.

Day in the Life:
Support daily kitchen operations in a high-volume, from-scratch environment
Assist in leading, coaching, and developing kitchen team members
Ensure consistency and quality across all food preparation and execution
Oversee prep, line execution, and service flow to maintain high standards
Support inventory management, ordering, and cost control
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and leadership team on menu execution and seasonal updates
Step into all kitchen roles as needed to support the team during service
Help train and mentor team members to build skill and consistency
Ensure adherence to all food safety and operational standards
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or strong Kitchen Manager in a full-service, upscale casual, scratch kitchen
Deep culinary knowledge with high standards for food quality and execution
Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and team development
Experience with kitchen operations including inventory, scheduling, prep, and sanitation
Solid understanding of cost control and kitchen financials
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
Passion for both food and people
