A high-volume, culture-driven restaurant concept is looking for a General Manager to lead operations at one of the most culturally significant and high-energy dining concepts in Tulsa.
This is a full-service restaurant rooted in the celebration of African American culture, delivering authentic soul food with exceptional hospitality in a vibrant, high-energy environment. Located in the historic Greenwood District, the brand blends elevated Southern comfort food with a lively, music-driven atmosphere and a deep commitment to culture, community, and “Black Excellence.”

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong team leadership, and consistent financial performance. This role requires a disciplined, systems-driven leader who thrives in a structured, performance-based environment.

Day in the Life:
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations, both front and back of house
- Lead, train, and develop management and hourly team members
- Ensure exceptional, hospitality-driven guest experiences
- Maintain strong floor presence during high-volume service periods
- Execute and enforce systems, checklists, and operational standards with precision
- Drive financial performance, including revenue, labor, and cost controls
- Conduct regular check-ins and performance conversations with team members
- Uphold brand standards rooted in culture, consistency, and excellence
- Manage staffing, scheduling, hiring, and performance management
- Foster a culture of accountability, discipline, and hospitality
- Support brand growth initiatives and potential expansion opportunities
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leader in high-volume restaurant environments
- Strong systems-driven mindset with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a structured, performance-based environment with ongoing feedback
- Passion for hospitality and delivering consistent, high-level guest experiences
- Financial and operational acumen (P&L, labor, cost controls)
- High energy, coachable, and growth-oriented mindset
- Willingness to relocate as the company expands nationally
