Job Title: Corporate Culinary Trainer

Location: Multi-Unit – Akron, Ohio

 Position Overview:

Rogue Development Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced Corporate Culinary Trainer to build and lead culinary training and development across our restaurant group. This role will focus on developing Chefs, Kitchen Managers, and line cooks while creating consistent culinary and operational standards across all locations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on culinary leader who is passionate about coaching, developing people, and building strong restaurant teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and implement a comprehensive culinary training program
• Train, coach, and develop Chefs, Kitchen Managers, and line cooks
• Create training materials, standards, and development paths for culinary teams
• Improve consistency in food quality, preparation, presentation, and kitchen execution
• Identify skill gaps and provide hands-on coaching within restaurant locations
• Support new-hire onboarding, menu rollouts, and new restaurant openings
• Reinforce food safety, sanitation, and operational standards
• Partner with leadership to identify and develop future culinary leaders

Qualifications

• 5+ years of culinary leadership experience in high-volume restaurants
• Experience as an Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, Culinary Trainer, or similar role
• Strong coaching, leadership, and communication skills
• Experience developing or implementing culinary training programs
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, food cost, and labor management
• Ability to travel between restaurant locations and work a flexible schedule as needed
