Engineering Regional Director (1707088)               $170k – $210k per year

SUMMARY

Provide leadership and strategic direction to regional engineering teams. Responsible for financial performance, client satisfaction, and project delivery within the assigned region. Foster business development opportunities and ensure alignment with organizational values and goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cultivate and maintain client relationships through consistent networking and business development efforts.

• Lead regional operations to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Participate in budget planning and goal setting.

• Promote services to existing and prospective clients to optimize resource utilization and drive growth.

• Oversee project execution to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.

• Foster a productive work environment that supports employee development and performance.

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of service offerings to effectively advise clients and expand engagements.

• Stay informed on industry trends and innovations to enhance operational efficiency.

• Manage the full employment cycle including hiring, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions.

• Generate and distribute regular reports on regional performance and address variances proactively.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

• Monitor change orders and accounts receivable; collaborate with accounting and clients to resolve issues.

• Coordinate staffing needs and participate in resource allocation meetings.

• Support employee training and development including certifications and technical training.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a leadership role managing engineers and project managers.

• Background in construction and commissioning support preferred.

• Professional Engineer (PE) and/or PMP certification preferred.

• Experience in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
