We are representing an Albany-based General Contractor with a strong track record of growth, doubling revenue over the past few years with projections to nearly double again next year. This firm has a solid pipeline of work ahead and is seeking a Superintendent to join their team for a significant historic renovation + new construction project in Hudson, NY.

This ideal candidate could be an Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, or Foreman with GC exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site operations on a historic renovation and new construction project (hotel + restaurant).

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.

• Hold proactive daily huddles with trades to align work and solve issues.

• Review drawings, maintain site documentation, and ensure compliance.

• Identify and resolve field problems before they escalate.

• Partner closely with Project Manager and ownership for support.

• Maintain jobsite safety and enforce OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of relevant construction supervision experience (Assistant Super, Superintendent, or Foreman with GC exposure).

• Commercial construction background; renovation experience a plus but not required.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.

• Hands-on leadership style and proactive, problem-solving mindset.

• Local/regional candidates strongly preferred, though relocation considered.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $85K–$95K target range (max $100K)
