Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer with experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and the capability to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, design, permit, inspect, and administer construction for water and wastewater infrastructure, including pump stations, distribution systems, collection and conveyance systems, storage tanks, and treatment facilities.
- Coordinate water and wastewater infrastructure design with other disciplines such as traffic, geotechnical, environmental, mechanical/electrical, and survey.
- Manage projects and provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Prioritize multiple tasks and manage preparation of construction drawings and specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 4–7 years of related experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D (strongly preferred).
- Experience with MicroStation, Revit, ArcGIS, WaterGEMS, and/or SewerGEMS is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments effectively.
