Position Overview

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a critical role in their growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective municipal clients. We are looking for individuals looking to launch a career in tech sales with a company committed to innovation and community impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Research and identify target accounts within local government sectors across North America.
  • Reach out to prospects through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate interest in the platform.
  • Qualify inbound leads and schedule discovery calls or product demos for the Account Executive team.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales teams to align messaging and improve outreach strategy.
  • Track all outreach activities in CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce).
  • Continuously learn and stay current on product features, market trends, and industry best practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience in sales, (SaaS or govtech experience is a plus, but not required).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Passion for technology and interest in local government or civic tech.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
