Prestigious Law Firm seeking a highly experienced Trust and Estate Administration Paralegal to join their reputable team!
 
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in trust and estate administration, with a strong understanding of probate (knowledge of New Jersey, New York, and Florida probate is a plus). As the Trust and Estate Administration Paralegal, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of estate and trust administration. This includes handling probate procedures, communicating regularly with clients, financial planners, and accountants, preparing federal and state estate tax returns and fiduciary accountings, distributing estate assets and trust funding, deed work, and more.
 
Superior communication skills are essential for this role as you will be regularly interacting with clients. Additionally, strong mathematical abilities are required to accurately handle financial aspects of the job. Experience working with estate tax software such as ONESOURCE/Fast Tax as well as proficiency in HotDocs and Microsoft Word is preferred.
 
In this role, organizational skills are crucial as you will be tasked with prioritizing multiple responsibilities. The ability to work well within a team is also critical for success in this position. A college degree or paralegal certificate is preferred; however, we will also consider candidates who have completed JD/paralegal programs.
