Job Description

Program Manager oversees functional machines and tooling for components utilizing standards, specifications and line up information presented by the Engineering Manager, Supervisor or Leader.

Job Functions

• Lead cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver projects related to automotive manufacturing processes, product launches, and operational improvements.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality control, supply chain, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks or roadblocks, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
• Foster effective communication channels among team members, stakeholders, and senior management to provide regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop contingency plans to address potential project disruptions, ensuring minimal impact on production timelines and quality standards.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives by identifying areas for optimization within manufacturing processes, cost efficiency, and quality enhancements.
• Uphold compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as a point of contact for customer interactions, ensuring that customer requirements are met, and fostering strong relationships to facilitate repeat business and customer satisfaction.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting project progress, achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across different functional teams and communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Leadership skills to motivate and guide cross-functional teams toward achieving project goals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness and ability to travel both internationally and domestically to customer sites.
