Annuity Actuary Associate – ASA/FSA Track

Location: League City, TX

We are seeking an experienced Annuity Actuary to join our actuarial modeling team in League City, Texas. This role is ideal for an ASA with 5+ years of experience in the annuity market and strong modeling skills. The position supports model development and regulatory implementation for a variety of annuity products including Fixed Deferred, Fixed Indexed, SPIA, PRT, and Variable Annuities.

Annuity Actuary Key Responsibilities:

• Lead actuarial modeling projects and support implementation of updated regulatory standards (e.g., VM-22)

• Collaborate with valuation, assumption, and QA teams

• Document model design decisions and ensure compliance with internal standards

• Analyze and interpret data to support strategic initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, economics, or related field

• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA); FSA preferred or in progress

• 5+ years of actuarial experience, with at least 3 years in annuity modeling

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with regulations VM-21 or VM-22 implementation

• Familiarity with computer programming tools such as VBA or SQL
