CNC Machinist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated CNC Machinist with experience operating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of machining principles, basic programming knowledge, and the ability to follow work instructions to produce high-quality precision parts. This is an excellent opportunity for a machinist looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What you will be doing as a CNC Machinist:

• Operate and monitor 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines to produce parts according to specifications.
• Load raw materials and set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining.
• Perform basic CNC program edits and adjustments under supervision.
• Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet tolerances.
• Deburr and finish machined components as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and company procedures.
• Assist with machine maintenance and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior machinists or supervisors. 

What you will need as a CNC Machinist:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school or machining certification preferred.
• 2+ years of CNC machining experience, including exposure to 3-axis and/or 5-axis machining.
• Familiarity with machining materials such as aluminum, steel, and composites.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior machinists and supervisors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
