Plant Manager– Metal Fabrication

We are seeking a driven and experienced Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of plant operation. The Plant Manager will be responsible for leading production, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives while fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, meeting customer demand, and driving business success.
What you will be doing as a Plant Manager:
- Lead and manage daily plant operations, including production, safety, quality, and delivery.
- Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve business goals and customer expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and foster a strong safety culture.
- Oversee workforce planning, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support product launches, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions to achieve operational targets.
What you will need as a Plant Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 7+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a Plant Manager or senior operations role preferably with metal fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
- Proven ability to lead large teams and drive cultural and operational change.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Marine, automotive, or other assembly manufacturing experience preferred.
