Accountant

Compensation DOE: up to $85K

Industrial manufacturer looking for a passionate, self-starting Accountant to handle a variety of tasks, including office administrative functions (MRO Purchasing), and can assist the leadership on financial analysis (ex; buy-backs, etc.).  This position requires a self-motivated individual with a knack for managing multiple facets of our financial operations. This role will work closely with business partners in the organization, reporting to the Controllers and will manage the day-to-day accounting responsibilities.

Accountant summary of Functions: 

·         Lead and administer accounts receivable and payable functions.

·         Manage customer billing and collections.

·         Contact customers for past due accounts.

·         Manage vendor invoicing and payment.

·         Ensure three-way match filing for AR and AP.

·         Manage payroll processing for approx. 60 employees.

·         Perform financial analysis on capital equipment purchases.

·         Manage cash receipt entry and daily cash balances.

·         Serve as back up to the Controller.

·         Utilize accounting team and ERP configuration to ensure segregation of duties.

·         Handle onsite HR functions for the staff.

 Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred but waived for relevant experience. 
• 3 years of manufacturing, financial/accounting experience. 
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems required. 
• Will liaise with all department, including manufacturing floor associates and be professional, reliable, honest, even tempered and self-motivated.
