Career Transitions, LLC is supporting a manufacturing client to help identify an AR/AP Manager in Roseville, MI.  Reporting to the Controller of the business unit, we are looking for self-starting, motivated, and high-energy passionate professional that can operate with autonomy in handling many day-to-day accounting responsibilities. 

AP/AR Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead and administer Accounts Receivable and Payable Functions for assigned company.
• Manage customer billing and collections and have responsibility for contacting customers regarding past due accounts.
• Manage vendor invoicing and payment.  Ensure Three-Way Match Filing for AR and AP.
• Manage Payroll Processing.
• Manage Cash Receipt Entry and Daily Cash Balances.
• Serve as Back up to the Controller.
• Utilize Accounting Team and ERP Configuration to ensure segregation of duties to company standards.
• Handle onsite HR functions for the staff.

AP/AR Manager Qualifications:

• High Schoold Diploma. (Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.)
• Demonstrated Accounts Payable Management.
• Demonstrated Accounts Receivable Management.
• Demonstrated experience working closely with Business Controllers. 
• Demonstrated project management skills. 
• Operational experience in Epicor Environment for ERP.
• Track record of coordinating process improvement projects with the ERP.
• History of improving the state of financial operations with the ERP. 
• Must have excellent documentation and writing skills. 
• Other attributed helpful include professional, reliable, honest, even tempered, self-motivated, and eager to learn and succeed. Able to work with little or no guidance and a business partner to operations. Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
