Job Overview:
The Apprenticeship program is responsible for building strong Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a career with Pro Services through high performance and effective execution of industrial maintenance related functions at our customer sites. The industrial reliability apprentice technician will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting machines and equipment for proper functioning during production and being able to respond quickly when issues arise. They will act as the technical representative for Pro Services at the customer site and will be required to interact with both customer maintenance staff and maintenance leadership. This position requires a strong focus on quality and safety. The successful candidate will be required to follow all safety and company policies and actively participate in creating and maintaining a safe work environment while improving operations. The position requires the ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to a changing work schedule. This individual should have a passion for our business, and a desire to improve the maintenance experience of our customer base. This position will report to either a Pro Services Account Manager or Program Manager and could have an additional reporting relationship with customer site maintenance leadership.
Essential Functions:
Daily Physical Demands
· Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
· Must be physically able to climb ladders, stairs, ramps, and scaffolds and bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
· Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, squat, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
· Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
· Must be able to visually inspect machines.
· Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
· Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
· Must be able to traverse wet, slippery, unsteady, irregular, narrow, vibrating or moving surfaces.
· Site specific physical and safety requirements may apply.
· Ability to wear job specific PPE required.
