Tech companies in L.A.
The San Fernando Valley is called the Silicon Valley of L.A., with unlimited opportunities.
In 2024, the Los Angeles area (including Los Angeles and Orange counties) had a tech talent workforce of approximately 258,640 workers.
This represents a 13% growth in the region's tech workforce from 2018 to 2023, according to CBRE.
The region also ranks as the fourth-largest in North America for its AI specialist workforce, with 13,605 specialists, according to CBRE.
Again, it’s important to note that the “tech employee” value is only referring to those employed at traditionally technical companies and does not account for the hundreds of thousands of technology workers in Hollywood and other merger industries.
