On behalf of our client, Air Pro Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of their finance function. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a highly skilled accounting professional to oversee all aspects of financial management, drive operational efficiencies, and support the company’s continued growth within Bermuda’s dynamic service sector.

The successful candidate will manage the full accounting cycle, ensure compliance with international standards, and provide strategic financial insights to the executive team.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including AR, AP, general ledger, payroll, and statutory filings

·         Prepare and present monthly and annual financial statements, management reports, and analysis

·         Manage cash flow, budgets, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning

·         Implement and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance standards

·         Lead the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors

·         Oversee inventory accounting, cost accounting, and margin analysis to improve operational performance

·         Provide financial leadership to support strategic planning and long-term business objectives

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

·         Accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACCA) is essential

·         MBA qualification would be an asset

·         Minimum 7–10 years’ progressive experience in senior finance or accounting leadership, with at least 3 years at Financial Controller or equivalent level

·         Previous cost accounting experience required

·         Experience in HVAC industry would be preferred

·         Strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS, with hands-on experience in inventory and cost accounting

·         Demonstrated ability to manage cash flow, budgets, and financial controls in a growing business

·         Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach
